My recent work is based on my thesis research at the University of Maine, The meaning of is is: A creative exploration of the need to assign meaning.

This was comprised of a written research component and an exhibition of a body of creative work. The exhibition centered around my thesis encompassing a variety of media and creative work. Assigned meaning is an important aspect of identity formation which I have and will continue to creatively explore.

My work involves a variety of media including but not limited to; digital artwork, installation, found objects, multiples and video.
One of the most important aspects of my work is viewer participation. This participation can range from viewing to handling the work or adding to the work itself. I feel that this interaction demystifies the idea that art exists outside the realm of everyday life. This demystification allows the my work to become more accessible to the viewer.
